We moved 30 minutes outside of Austin to Cedar Creek, Texas, where we continue to be “in the music business” but also have added the new business of raising alpacas! Our first 4 alpacas were purchased in December of 2004 and we spent 6 months getting the property ready for our “new babies”. Finally in June of 2005 our first two alpacas were delivered!

Coming from Hollywood, we can’t leave behind the film mentality….here are some of the characters you will find in our adventure stories!

Kim:  Husband and Owner of Nueva Vida

Ronda: Wife and ‘Mother’ to animals

Moxie: six year old dachshund who is as smart as a two year old person

Belle:  four year old doxie who loves to eat and is afraid of thunderstorms

Fawn: 25 year old Arabian Mare who came with the property

Cagney: Great Pyrenees pup who is the livestock guardian for the alpacas

Lacey: Cagney’s sister...seems to be the one who gets in the most trouble. 

Minnie: reddish brown female alpaca

S’mores: beige female alpaca

Silly: pure white female alpaca

Rigoletto:  bay black male alpaca

Cambridge:  White male alpaca

Huey, Louie, Louise, Quackers, Cheese, 57, Bill, Daisy: The ducks; two who were hatched from eggs

Bob and the boys: 6 guineas who live at our place, but roam the neighborhood “enforcing things”

KC: barn cat

Billy and crew:  10 South African Boer Goats who are the “cleanup land maintenance crew”.
